The Inspiration:
Visualising the future of work - Solna Link

Walk the Room
Q1 2025
Connectivity, real sustainability, and well-being -
these are some of the words we can use to describe the latest project we’ve done together with Skanska.

Solna Link, located in a creative hub with multiple international companies as neighbors, is a development all about the future of work.
Today, we’re very excited to share the project we’ve been a part of for a long time and that is now fresh out of the oven—we’ve been in charge of creating CGIs for the project, along with some digital solutions that help showcase its unique features and emphasize how it really taps into the placemaking of Arenastaden.

Solna is already the destination. With companies across various industries, from energy to food & consumer goods, it is a perfect location for a creative, connected, modern workspace. Our CGI work often focuses on highlighting the location aspect of a development project, as this can be a make-or-break factor for any new commercial real estate project.
With Solna Link, showing the interconnectivity was a vital part of the renders. Trams, buses, and trains are available in very close proximity, and Stockholm’s Green Metro Line is planned to open here by 2028. Just minutes from Solna Link, Mall of Scandinavia, Northern Europe’s largest shopping center, and Friends Arena, Sweden’s national stadium, offer shopping, services, and entertainment.

Going even more in-depth about the location, we worked on our Interactive Aerial for Solna Link. The tool allows potential tenants to dive deep into the area, getting a better sense of the neighborhood, closeness to public transport, and key businesses in the area.

Play around with the aerial view by clicking on arrows and interest points and explore the full potential of the area.

The project’s tagline is The place for well-being (Plats för sinnekraft), factoring in mental health as a major part of creating the new workspace in Solna.

Sustainability, health, and well-being, being the core values here, played a major part in the design as well, dictating a lot of processes.

Every material is carefully selected to ensure reusability and to minimize the building's carbon footprint throughout its lifecycle. The design prioritizes an optimal indoor climate, offering excellent air quality, abundant natural light, and stable temperatures.
The building is pre-certified for LEED Platinum and NollCO2, with aspirations to achieve WELL Gold certification.
One of the key features of the planned building is the green roof, which stands out in the Solna district. This allows to have the meetings semi-outdoors, and relax in the fresh air, with an outdoor kitchenette/pantry, gym and boule/petanque lane available.
We’re always very excited to bring amazing design to life via our renders. In the case of the Solna Link building, the atrium is something that absolutely takes the stage—a vast space, filled with light, with meeting spaces overlooking the green-filled area. Its serves as a majestic yet calming centre of the Solna Link building.
The scale of the development, design details, and highlighting of the area’s features—factors of all scales played a huge role in the choices we made while showcasing this project. With several aerials, a mix of interiors and exteriors, along with detail shots and some digital solutions, we managed to do both—paint a beautiful picture and tell a full story of Solna Link’s potential.

Construction of the office building will begin in March 2025, and it is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
Thanks, Skanska, for another amazing collaboration!
